Beach Sports Day
Towards the end of term 1 Ungarra Primary School participates in the annual Beach Sports Day at Port Neill. All events are held on the beach near the jetty area.
Students compete in a variety of team, partner and individual activities against students in their own age group. The day concludes around 1:00pm and is a highlight each year.
Tabloid Sports Day
Tabloid Sports Day is held in term 3 each year at the host school (Poonindie or Ungarra). Poonindie, Ungarra and Port Neill Primary Schools are all involved in the day. Students compete in a variety of traditional events that involve skills of running, throwing, catching and jumping.
